Just writing...

Today I had my PET scan and an MRI to see if the brain tumors and all the other tumors are behaving theirselves. I will know in a few days, when I go to the Mayo clinic for my next appt.
Also, I have surgery tomorrow. We have to be there at 5:30am (don't they know that is my best sleeping hour??!!). I will be having my ovaries and tubes taken out because they are only causing trouble.... Good riddance, I am done with them. They served their purpose. Now I have four beautiful children!!
Someone asked me if I am nervous about another surgery. Here is my answer. I don't get nervous.... I know it seems weird, but I am a bit used to it by now. So, as I said, I don't get nervous......until I am laying on the cold metal slab and all the doctors and nurses are looking at me and I realize that any minute they are going to cut me open. Then I get really nervous, and I am about ready to get up and bolt, but a mask comes over my face and all goes black.
So now you know how surgeries go for me. Now it is time for me to head to bed with my beloved Kindle... I mean husband!! he he he

I am no surgery expert, but I feel the same way. I don't get scared until it is too late to back out. Same thing with giving birth, I just am not worried until the inevitable is upon me. I am sure all will go well, and I hope they have internet access in the room, so they can google stuff. HA! That is a funny comic, at least when you are not on the table.
