Spagetti, Dresses, sneaking out of bed, and a kid spa! Better known as our week in a nutshell!

We have had an excitng and trying week.... So now, i will spotlight some of the memories. First of all, our "new house" is an up and down adventure. One day we are going to get in the house on the right timeframe, the next day, we don't even know if we are going to get the house because of the sellers "issues". We have been presented and signed MANY contracts. I will now list the various "move-in" dates we have been promised over the summer. Every one of them has fallen through so far....... June 12th, June 30th, July 29, August 11th, August 18th, August 23rd, and now August 25th! We are now in a holding pattern and we are pretty much under the assumption, "We will believe it when we see it... when the keys are IN our hands!"
But enough about the housing world, we have been blessed by Freeport McMoran temporary housing this whole summer (the 90 day period is now up), and we have enjoyed the "free" A/C, and use of a pool at the apartment complex. It also makes me realize that I NEVER want to move again!!! I want to get into this house, and then stay there FOREVER!!!!
We have also been sick here at our house this week, so the stress level was at a pitch... and then the relief came in and washed us over.... The next few pictures will show the "relief" we felt...
Friday morning I got a call from Morgan's mom... she asked if she could bring dinner in for us that evening. I told her that it would be quite a drive for her to come down and bring us dinner since they live 16 hours away. She, of course, had another plan.... a plan that her wise sister, Gwen, told her about. She got our adress and had dinner delivered to us promptly at 6pm!! It was WONDERFUL!!!!!
Another form of relief came in the form of an AMAZING sale at JC Penny's. This was an unexpected surprize. I decided after taking the kids to school on Friday that I was going to "walk the mall" with Will. I don't think I have "walked a mall" for a billion years, and we just happened to start in the JC Penny store. Lo and Behold, JC Penny was having a HUGE sale plus 60% off, plus 10.00 off every 50.00 you spend. So, my lucky son had the opportunity to go dress shopping with me for about 2 hours. Now if you ask him, he wouldn't consider himself the luckiest child ever, but he did have fun hiding from me in all the racks. I haven't worn a "dress" to church in a very long time. I condemned myself to skirts and blouses once I had my children and couldn't lose the "baby weight". But yesterday, I embraced my bigger size and had sooo much fun "loving the body that I am in!!!"
And guess what? The dresses started at 70.00 and I picked them up for 8.36 a piece!!!!! Seriously!!! They were all sleevless so I purchased a shrug and walllllllllaaaaaa!!! I am ready to hit the town!!!!
The picture above is just an example of the styles I picked......
p.s. yes, we bleached my hair blonde last Saturday..... It is cha cha!!!
Oh, end guess who has been having trouble sleeping all week? He will run out of his room, get a spank... cry and then repeat the cycle. We finally stuck him out on the couch, so Lund could get a little rest. Soon, I heard noises, got out of bed and found this....... Go figure. A hair thing, socks and my watch... interesting........

He wasn't thrilled that the flash was flashing in his eyes.....
You gotta love that his sleeping partner is a boot!! That is pretty much how our life is right now.
On Thursday, the kids noticed that mom was having a hard time. I was sick and very stressed. They decided to have a "Mom spa" and they massaged, washed and rubbed my feet and legs..... IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! I love my children!!!! (especially when it is Mom Spa Day at our house)

see.......... we are going to be OKAY!!

Thank you for the picture of the dinner. Looks pretty good. I do like your dress. I have always loved polka dots but have not managed to wear any even though they are in style. Your kids are extraordinarily thoughtful and kind. Keep us posted on the home buying roller coaster.
we love you.
