You never really leave a place or person you love, part of them you take with you ,leaving a part of yourself behind.”

Well, it is offically official!!! After living for 6-years in the Bagdad community we will be heading for a new adventure in Gilbert, Arizona. It has taken a lot of praying, thinking, and crying to come to this decision. We have always felt so at home here in Bagdad and the ward is like an extension of our family. We feel that this is the move that the Lord would like us to do and we are indeed excited for this new stage. We will be closer to my doctors, cancer support groups and many other medical things that will be a part of my life for the rest of my life. That doesn't mean this decision was easy by any means. Big decisions in our life are never easy; but they are definitely worth it!
The kids are torn with the love they have for their friends here and the adventure waiting around the corner. Cassidy commented in the car last night as we drove home from Phoenix, "So, we just live the next month of our life as if NOTHING is happening???!!" And indeed that sums up how we all feel. We will let our kids finish up the school year here and we will leave shortly after that. So, we have a month of transition ahead of us. Please know that I love you all no matter where you live!!!

Bittersweet! You'll have to let me know where you end up...we are hoping to live in Gilbert soon, as well.

not as fun as moving to Boise, but still exciting. I'm glad I got to see Bagdad before you left! One more reason to visit the Valley! Good luck
