Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.”

This year at the Halloween carnival for our community, a few good friends in the ward and I made our own costumes. We bought matching shirts and long tank tops to go underneath that made our shirts longer due to a pregnant friend. We made our own "twilight shirts".

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Twilight book series, it seems to have taken the world by storm and the movie will be out at the end of this month and I am so excited. I need to thank my neice Chantell who introduced this wonderful book to me about three years ago at Thanksgiving in Pocatello. Now Romeo and Juliet don't hold a candle to this love story...

So, back to the shirts. We all wore the same emblem on the front of our shirts and then we each picked different quotes to go on the back. It was super fun to be dressed up as a grown-up and we got a lot of comments. Good friends are hard to find and ones that will look like a nerd right along with you are even harder to find. So, thank you Jenny, Destiny, Becky, and Lydia for being great friends.

Karen and I had dinner a long time ago with the author of the Twilight book series. Her parents live in Phoenix area and they invited us for dinner when she was still in high school, or maybe even elementary School. We never knew what lerked behind those young eyes
