Lately it has been "monsoon season" here in the Valley of the Sun. What they should name it is "Dust Season". I don't think I have ever seen so much dust during monsoon season.
Then, the darkness comes......
But, it did drop the temperature from 113 to 104.
...........and the rain breaks through to clean away the dust!! (most of it)
And on a beautiful note.... Look what my honey did for me this weekend! I have been wanting an old fashioned lampost like this forever!!!! When we saw them at Costco at a reasonable prize, he just couldn't help himself. He sure does spoil me..... He spent all day Saturday digging and cementing and rigging up electrical stuff. He is simply amazing!!!!!!

Valley of the Sun ?? I am wondering ----- I think your summary is more perfect !!! But Chandler didn't get much dust or rain.... just a view of it. Kind of a virtual experience.
