You know the greatest thing about getting out of the hospital........ Getting to sit on my front swing and watch the beauty of nature and my children! It re-invigorates me and gives me hope and life in abundance...
So, enjoy my view today from my front swing, I know I LOVED the view!!!
Here is Sarah sitting with my computer on the swing, hanging out with mom. She is holding her new "chocolate bunny". (A stuffed animal that smells like chocolate... genius!!)Here was our view as we watched the kids and life flowing by. The neighborhood boys were in full swing with a street hockey game, Will was using the skateboard ramp with his truck, the sun was shining, beautiful 80 degree weather....
Will and his truck and a lot of sun!
And even Sarah got into the picture-taking fun! She took this picture of me and her bunny just so you can all see that I am healtly and well and very HAPPY!!
Then the adorable neighbor girl brought over her new Leopard tortoise that she just bought......
And that got the kids excited about their own turtles up in their rooms, so they got them out. (Sorry for the trailer ride tortoise!)
And then this handsome man pulled up from work and checked out the torts as well. (Man, is he sexy or what?!! Love my bearded man!!!)
And the turtles were just going to town on the sunshine, grass, and lettuce. They were in heaven too!!
And Sarah even snapped a picture of me and my honey!!! Thanks Sarah for learning how to use the camera so fast!
And, last but not least, this is called "tree therapy"! I don't think it has been studied medically, but it should be! My hubby relieves his stress by planting, whether it is a new garden, or the trees he has been planting lately. I love it!! And he is always around where I can find him, in the sun, enjoying his plants. What better therapy could there be?? Plus, we now have an apricot, lime, navel orange, ficus, Valencia orange, blood orange, sweet bay, 2 mandarin oranges, and I think grapefruit trees. So, I think we will all be benefiting when the citrus comes! Oh, and we have a whole hill full of cantaloupe that I am already craving!!! yummy!!!! can't wait!!! (And don't even get me started on what is in the garden?!! oooooooo... summer is going to rock!)
