What I love today....

Today I had a brilliant idea for a blog entry. I am soooo humble!!!! I decided to tell you the random things I love about today.

*I love Lund's response to me today when I said at 2pm that I had better go put some clothes on because I was still in my pajamas. He said..."Well, you have a shirt on and you have shoes...well, slippers on.... so technically you should be able to go to the store like that." Well said Lund,  well said!

*I love Cassidy's response when I asked her to brush her hair before going to the movie theater with her grandma...."Why mom? it is dark in the theater you know!" again, well said!

 I love that the kids got to paint today, and that they did it in the backyard. Wahooo! (oil paints today...aren't we getting older?)

 I love that my brand new washer and dryer sings a musical tune when it is done, like fairies are doing my laundry. (I wish the fairies would put the laundry away too!!!) ((I will tell you  more about these wonderful new machines in another post.))

 I love that the pet rat that was missing in the house is now found. (because nobody wants to open a drawer and have a rat jump out at them... even if it IS a pet rat....still icky!! Kinda like the day I found the pet snake in the garbage disposal...again, story for another day..... (wow, I am on a  lot of rants today!!)

I love that this room was clean just YESTERDAY.....hummmmm o.k. I don't love this part as much...

I love that this eliptical machine looks great.....cuz I sure didn't use it today!!!

I love that my maids (yes, I have maids.... I know, crazy huh?), hang my pajama pants in my closet. Hey, there's my Den mom shirt too.......

I love that when I ask the kids to put things "upstairs" the pile only makes it to the second step. Is that really considered "upstairs"? I guess it went up one stair....

I love that I have Hostess cupcakes in the pantry.....see them, next to the healthy Sun Chips? Oh, yeah baby!...... I think I ate two of them today within a matter of 30 seconds. See what happens when mom is stressed???

O.K., now I am not loving the painting project as much, cuz here is the end result..... wait.... where are the kids?.... crazy how they can "smell" a mess and run!

I love the Christmas cards posted all over my cupboards because I LOVE to see what people are up to. But of course, I guess it is time to take them down now....sigh......maybe tomorrow...

I LOVE my new cup from Walgreens. It is made of hard plastic and is basically a sippy cup for grown-ups. But.... in my defense, it does make me drink more water.... (see the Disney channel show playing in the background....for the record... I AM NOT loving that!!!)

I love this sign that I hung today. It was made by my mother-in-laws Visiting Teachers. Isn't that sweet of them to think of me? And I love the message!!

And I love the seat I sat in while I wasn't feeling amazing today... see my heating pad and my laptop?....oh yea. I love this end of the couch!

And then Sarah said, "Mom, what are you taking pictures of?"     "oh, just the things that I love." her reply... "Well, I better be on there!" Gotta love that girl!!!

And here is what I was LOVING watching while I was sitting at my end of the couch! Sorry, but I sure do LOVE this show! It's like Scooby Doo for grown-ups!

And last, but surely not least, today I was LOVING my new bike attachment that enables Will to ride with me!!! Amazing contraption! And we enjoyed a nice ride through the neighborhood today.

*But, I am not loving this statement that Will made to me as he came in from preschool with different pants. You know, the extra pair you send in case your child ever has an accident.....
"I CHOOSE to go potty in my pants at school and I CHOOSE to go potty in the toilet at home.".....hummmmm. Not my favorite reasoning tactic of the day!  It was interesting that he emphasised "Choosing" so much, like it was his free agency at work. Now I am CHOOSING to send him to his room! Wahhoooo!
