My baby turned 8

That’s right, numero cuatro turned ocho!!! My Espanol has improved mucho!!

All right, I will return to the regularly scheduled language.

What a happy day it was! Will had turned 8 just the day prior, and now it was Baptism Day! We had gone over everything with him,

But he still needed a little reassuring from his loving Aunt Alisha. Aren’t aunts great?

After the baptism he was A LOT more sure of everything and picture taking was just fine!

Kayla, the eldest cousin made her appearance (beautiful once again!) And my boys jumped in as well, even though Lund didn’t know about the photo bomb in progress. 

Grandma Johnson, and even Juliet made her way all the way from Oregon.

And that is how it was. A glorious day to watch Will covenant with his Heavenly Father, his very first covenant and now he can sing the song, “I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!!!

The Party Version! 
                                          January started out like a party waiting to be exploded!


And party we did......skiiball betts and bowling dancing.



And it looks like Will grabbed a cigarette and started shooting it up(sucker in mouth?)

And then entered the evil January ..................... The stomach flu, not just the regular flu, the one that can devastate a whole household in a few days. I had to run to my parents house and hide for a couple of days till that flu wore off. And then the cough hit the fam.......started as a nice light cough and ended up with pneumonia in mom that has hung around till now....it blew past 2 antibiotics without even a wink.    Can we all say goodbye Janurary!!!!!!!!

The Carpet Anniversary

 

Today is the 16th Anniversary of Morgan Lund Johnson and Christa Jolene Johnson. The most amazing couple the world will ever know!

And we decided that our 16th Anniversary is “New Carpet Anniversary!!!!!!!!”

Jealous!!!!! You know you are!!!!!

So soft and comfy that my son made a “carpet angel” earlier today.  Nevermind that my teenagers are watching “Dr. Who” during the photo…..just focus on the soft carpet!

Also, my friend in the ward and I decided to take some pictures for our hubbies for a Christmas present. Her daughter put make up on us and then we just went in our backyard and had some fun. I am wearing Morgan’s favorite outfit. smiles!

I love to see the Temple….

Last night we went with Morgan’s sister, Ruth, and her family and  to see the temple lights. It was not as crowded as it is before Christmas, but it was still full of people getting their last glances at this wonderful temple display.

   Ruth and her boys! What a beautiful family! We are so glad they came to visit Papa and Gramma Karen. Tomorrow they head back to Logan, Utah and the snow!

The Grinch strikes Again!!!

 

Every year, Papa Lund performs many, many presentations  of the “Grinch Stole Christmas”.

He is asked by no less than a dozen different people, families, or organizations each year.

And he NEVER dissappoints!!

His wife by his side, it all goes quite slick!
