I'll have a burger with a side of stomach aches all around!

We had another great day on our vacation here in Pocatello. We had an AMAZING lunch at 5 Guys Burgers (yummy x 10!) and we did a lot of relaxing around the house. We also watched the movie "Letters to God", which is soooooooo amazing!!!! Just bring your box of tissues! It opened up a lot of conversation about cancer with the kids and was a great atmosphere to talk about it.
We had planned on taking the kids skating this evening at a local skating rink, but most of our kids have a bad tummy ache that must be going around. Cassidy started complaining yesterday about her tummy, and then Lund Ryan and Grandma had tummy problems all day today, along with Cassidy. And as it turns out, Bonnie and her children made it back to Boise yesterday just in time for Lucy to come down with the tummy bug as well. Soooooooo..... there must be some evil germs lurking around. Maybe you all should just look at the pictures and see us that way...
Yes Karver, that is exactly how I feel too!
And getting off of the topic of tummy aches, these french fries are now on the top of my list. The secret is to have them cooked extra long..... extra yummy!!!
Here is the whole clan that went to 5 Guys for lunch...
Here is beautiful Sarah sporting her "Hitler scab". She fell off her scooter yesterday and is not thrilled that it looks like a small mustache.
And here is Ruth on the phone at lunch with her hubbie. That means he was at lunch with us too!!
And it must be Ruth day today because here is Ruth with her adorable boys! I am sure going to miss these little men when they go home tomorrow. Maybe I will just have to steal one or two....

We have had two more days of fun that I need to catch up on.... See if you can recognize the faces that follow.
P.S. We are watching the new Karate Kid right now as I type this.....just sayin'..... we are having tons of fun!
Cancer news: I was pretty sick this morning because of my chemo medicines, but I called the doctor and took some Tylonel, and Zofran and got everything under control. Medicines are a wonderful thing when used correctly. I sure feel blessed to live in this day and age...
I definitley had a lot of fun dressing up Kason today... ........way too much fun....................
.........Man, he is one CUTE baby!!!
And Kimball shaved his beard into a mustache today, so here are the two facial hair men. KC was just being a "used car salesman" for fun...
We also had fun today at the D.I...............
......again with the adorable baby boy!!
..............no explanation needed..............
..........Will took a close up picture of me today......
...Karver will be your friend as long as you have an electronic device for him to watch! Here is Morgan and the Crozier boys!
And here are my little ones.... Except Will loves to "hide" in his new hoodie/skeleton costume!
Lucy and Carmen.... two very adorable girls!
And there were pedicures all around thanks to the service rendered by Charice and Breana...
Could Bonnie look any happier and adorable holding a precious little one?!!
Breana painting the little girls' toes!
And wouldn't you know... Morgan stole another baby!
Even Carmen loves talking on the phone!!!
Yesterday, a whole bunch of kids and I had fun with bubbles....
..............Aunt Ruth playing with the kids and bubbles too.......
Elliot Hynes
Elliot attacking Will with the bubble gun...
.........then he decided to attack the camera woman!....
Will also enjoyed attacking the lady with the camera....
Lucy Hynes jumped in on the action too.....
....................and Sarah................
........and have you met our little Sherlock Holmes....

In other news: Morgan had to go to an Urgent Care today and was diagnosed with a kidney infection. He is now trying to drink more water and take his antibiotics.....poor guy! He is handling it like a champ though... he always does!!

What faces have you seen lately???

Hello all! We are on vacation!!! Yes, that is right... the first vacation we have taken since my diagnosis last year. We are on a fall break road trip and we are having the time of our lives!... Take a minute to look at a few of the faces we have seen along the way... (we don't have everyone pictured that we have seen because I am very random with my picture taking)
EmmaLee Hulse and Cassidy met up in Bagdad for a day
Daniel Hulse and Will had tons of fun being.....boys!
Lund and Izzy had a fun playdate before the football game.
Morgan found adorable baby Eric to hold...
Will shared his Hot Wheels track with baby Eric Hulse. (miracles never cease!)
And then, Sunday after attending church in Bagdad, we hit the road for Pocatello, Idaho...
Yup, he is always this much fun in the car! He did say a wonderful thing to me. I sat back with him when he was having trouble on the drive and he kept saying, "I love you mommy, I love you." Finally, I asked him what inspired this great show of affection and he immediately responded, "Jesus told me to tell you that." ......simply wonderful!!
And sometimes, I had the opportunity to sit in the passanger seat and look at this sexy man!!! (p.s. I am a BIG fan of the new scruffy face!)
We arrived in Pocatello at 2am and when we woke up in the morning, we were greeted by many wonderful cousins and neices and nephews. Cassidy was in HEAVEN holding all the babies! This little gem happens to be Breana Johnson's new little girl, Carmen.
A Carmen pose!
And these two divas were rocking the world in their tutu's! (Lucy Hynes and Sarah)
And this little vampire was hiding in Grandpa's precious flowers!! (Christian Hegstrom)
The other wonderful aspect of Pocatello is the "fall season" that is everywhere!!! Love it!
Oh look, Cassidy has Carmen again!
And Lund just wanted to finger knit the whole time. He made a rope that went around the downstairs two times. I think that should count for his Webelos scout stuff somehow!!
And this little man is as cute as a bug!! I stole him plenty of times to snuggle with him. (Kason Crozier)
And here is proud momma Breana with her little Carmen, just two-weeks-old!
Will spent the whole day outside playing with his cousins! He was in boy heaven!
Here is Elliot Hynes kicking the ball around with the other boys!
I just love how green the grass is here. There is moisture everywhere!
My little diva made lots of appearances outside...
And here are some friendly faces.... This is (from left to right) Cheyenne (Bruce's girlfriend), Bruce Robinson, Morgan Robinson, Breana Johnson, and Christian Hegstrom..
One big happy family!! I caught all the siblings in the Johnson/Robinson/Hegstrom clan and made them pose for a picture. These are all of Charice's kids (Morgan's just older sister)
......And look, Morgan found another baby to snuggle with! He sure does love being "the baby whisperer!" (baby: Kason Crozier)

So, as you can see, we are having a little slice of heaven as we sit and visit with family from Boise, Idaho, Logan, Utah, and Pocatello, Idaho. We wish we could have everyone from his family here, but we are loving our time here nontheless!
I would like to give a little "shout out" to Lilly Wilson in Boise. She is my brave 7-year-old neice recovering from kidney stone surgery. We love you Lilly and we know you will get through this..."Johnson women are TOUGH!"
